Our Executive Director, Ernest, had the pleasure of hosting professional mountain biker and adventurer Ryan Petry in Vail last summer as part of his Best Week Ever: Colorado project.
Ernest spoke with Ryan about life in the Vail Valley and his enthusiasm for bringing trails to life. They enjoyed some local food and beverages from @rockymountaintaco, @vailbrewingco and @yetisgrind leading up to their ride down Two Elk.
What is Ryan’s Best Week Ever: Colorado project?
“This past summer I documented a big ride across Colorado that celebrated all of the reasons that I love this sport: Meeting great people, exploring new places, riding amazing trails, challenging myself physically, and the moments in between ☕️ 🍺. Riding from Crested Butte to Boulder stopping in Aspen, Leadville, Vail, Breckenridge, and Winter Park truly was an unforgettable week” – Ryan Petry
