Financial Information and Reporting

Capital and Equipment
In summer of 2025, VVMTA was able to purchase an office and garage bay in Edwards, CO. This investment in a physical HQ made possible by a few generous donors means that the trail community is building equity instead of renting. We are able to store our tools and mini-excavator indoors, extending the life of the equipment, and the space serves as both an office and training facility for our crews. Safety checks, project planning, board and donor meetings, and more keep the new HQ a busy and energizing place. Donations are needed to help pay down the remaining loan balance ($260,000) and keep the lights on at VVMTA HQ!
We strive to procure trucks and equipment via donation whenever possible. Our vehicle fleet consists of 5 used and donated pickup trucks and a cargo van used for Soul Dirt loaner bike fleet and tool transport (generators, plate compactors, power tools).
Our mini excavator is a key piece of trail building equipment that, along with skilled staff and volunteer operators, allows us to contribute match funding for grants and complete projects more efficiently and save money. Initially purchased through a crowd funding effort in 2018 and since upgraded, we have been able to care for and store this valuable machine inside over the winters at our new HQ.
