BIKE Vail Valley Photo Contest: It’s Back Again in 2018!
The VVMBA and the Vail Daily have partnered to award one amateur or professional photographer to have their best mountain biking photo printed on the cover of the 2018 BIKE Vail Valley magazine.
The Vail Daily annually prints 20,000 copies of this free magazine with a release date on Memorial Day and distributed through Labor Day. The guide will also once again be available year round in Vail Daily’s digital version.
The VVMBA is working closely with the Vail Daily on the 2018 BIKE Vail Valley magazine providing content, photos, trail tips, epic ride information, and more.

Submission Deadline Date:

Winner Announced:
May 1, 2018 at our Spring Kick Off at Vail Brewing Co from 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Contest Rules: Please Include ALL in Your E-Mail
- Eagle County Trails ONLY: All photos must be taken on trails in Eagle County.
- Photo Specifications: Printed at 8″ x 10″ at 300 DPI (iPhone photos will work!)
- Photographer Name: First Name and Last Name
- Rider Identity: First Name and Last Name
- Location: Name of Trail
- Number of Submissions: As many as you want, keep ’em coming!

How the Winner is Determined:
The VVMBA and Vail Daily have created a joint panel of board members and editorial staff to vote and choose the winner. The winner will be announced at our Spring Kick Off event on the night of May 1, 2018.
Terms of Entering:
Upon submission of your photo, the entrant agrees to and understands that the VVMBA and Vail Daily can use the photo(s) submitted on the cover of both the print and digital version of BIKE Vail Valley and promotions of the BIKE issue. The VVMBA and Vail Daily may use all photo submissions, with credit, on social media and websites in reference to this contest and future contests. The VVMBA and Vail Daily agrees that any other use will be negotiated by VVMBA or Vail Daily with the photographer.
