Eagle Outside FunDuro

A Fundraiser for Trails

FunDuro (definition): To partake in a fun, friendly, and competitive community bike race all while raising money for local trails.

This is a fun enduro race (hence FunDuro) for all riders, levels, and abilities. Don’t let the “enduro” part turn you away. This is a laid back event that you can make as competitive as you’d like. Your first enduro race? Create a team and support each other. You’re a pro racer? Well, we have a $1,000 prize purse split between men and women. Everyone is out there for the same reasons no matter what your ability and experience is. Ride your bike with a great community and help raise some money for trails in Eagle County!

Oh did we mention the weekend is filled with fun that is the Eagle Outside Festival and Bonfire Block Party….booyaahh!

What Category Should I Compete In?

  • First enduro?  Enjoy the fun and relaxed vibe of the amateur and masters categories.
  • No matter what category you choose, create a team to add some extra support and fun to your day
  • You can always race up a category. For example, a 15 year old can race in the 16-18. Or a Masters Woman 40+ can race in Amateur Women 19-39.
  • Your age is how old you are on race day, June 1, 2019

What is the Team Category? How do I get on a Team?

Teams are a fun way to create a little more competition among friends and fellow racers. During registration you will be asked if you are on a Team or to create a New Team. If you create a New Team, create your team name. Invite one or three of your other friends to choose your team during registration. Here are a few more details:

  • Teams must be either 2 or 4 and all compete on either the Full Course or Short Course
  • Team rankings/final results are determined by adding up each team members total time
  • Each team member is still competing in the individual category that he/she signed up for
  • Team categories will be men, women, and mixed. *Sorry no Pro’s on teams!
  • The same details goes for the Parent/Kid Team. Exception is it is not broken down by gender.
